# openlawsvpn

> AWS Client VPN with SAML/SSO for iPhone, iPad, Android, Linux, and macOS. It helps organisations connect to their own AWS Client VPN endpoints using their existing SAML 2.0 identity provider.

openlawsvpn is not a consumer VPN service. It does not provide VPN endpoints, identity-provider accounts, or bypass services. Users import the `.ovpn` profile supplied by their organisation and authenticate with the organisation's own identity provider.

## Core capabilities

- Connects to AWS Client VPN endpoints that use federated SAML authentication.
- Supports AWS-compatible SAML 2.0 identity providers, including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, AWS IAM Identity Center, and JumpCloud.
- Provides iPhone/iPad and Android apps, plus Linux and macOS tooling.
- Includes Relay for human-approved SAML authentication from headless CI/CD runners and servers; it avoids storing SSO credentials in pipelines.
- Credentials are entered with the identity provider. VPN profiles are stored locally; the apps do not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
